VISION

To be a reference institution in theological and missiological education, in Japan and in the world, with a quality management model capable of self-sustaining and meeting the needs of the postmodern world, contributing to the edification and integral mission of the Church.

OUR STORY

The UESA mission, under the direction of the Canadian Missionary Ernestine Home, founded on December 22, 1935, the Betel Biblical Institute which, based on the ethical, moral and religious standards of the sacred scriptures, had the purpose of training girls for the work of world evangelization.

In 1968, it began to be led by Professor Lídia Almeida de Menezes, hence the name Instituto Bíblico Betel Brasileiro, becoming a civil, religious, educational and interdenominational entity. Recognized as an educational entity of federal public utility, registered with the National Council of Social Assistance on 04/23/1970, enrolled in CNPJ 09.132.432/0001-20 and declared Federal Public Utility - Decree No. 86.174 of 07/02/ 1981 - Federal Official Gazette of 07/03/1981. Affiliated since 1984 to AMTB (Association of Transcultural Missions in Brazil), since July 1991 to AETAL (Evangelical Association of Latin American Theological Education) and APMB (Association of Professors of Missions in Brazil).

Our objective is to educate and prepare men and women for pastoral, missionary, evangelistic and social work in Brazil and abroad. For this purpose, our curriculum aims to achieve a balance between the academic and practical areas, with a grid of programmed disciplines, offering biblical, theological, historical, philosophical, linguistic, missiological and social content.

The Instituto Bíblico Betel Brasileiro currently has twenty (20) seminars and extensions, established in several states of Brazil and Japan, training vocations from different denominations, regions and some countries.

We are a non-profit work of faith; depending exclusively on God, to continue preparing leaders to serve the church and society.
